This includes roads, bridges, and many other integral parts of the community.In essence, civil engineering may be regarded as the profession that makes the world a more agreeable place in which to live.
Department of civil engineering working with a motivation of developing professional and personal skills of students,which facilitate them to perform magnificently as an eminent engineer in the society. Department provides platform to showcase and sharpen student's talents through a variety of events and activities planned throughout four years, for overall development of students personalities.

If you want a government job by doing diploma in engineering then a diploma in civil engineering will be the best option. One can become JUNIOR ENGINEER at state or central government.

One can appear for a SSC examination, takes place every year.

You can also appear for your state public service exam.

In the above two cases vacancies for civil candidates are always more than for mechanical or electrical engineers.

One can also appear for PSUs, but here the vacancies for mechanical or electrical are more than for civil.
